The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) recently conducted its 2016 HIMSS Cybersecurity Survey in which 85 percent of respondents in the healthcare sector stated that information security has become more of a priority for their businesses in the wake of recent hacking scandals.
In an effort to serve this increasing group, HIMSS has developed a Cybersecurity Hub, which is a learning portal specifically designed to help healthcare information professionals, executives, information technology professionals, and other stakeholders understand the ever-changing world of cybersecurity. It will feature various interactive lesson structures with different cybersecurity situations and participants will walk through the different means of solving them. The hub can be found at the HIMSS Innovation Center in downtown Cleveland.
